John 3:16 – ‘that whoever believes in Him’

For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him…Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."…He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God…Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life…I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst…He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'"…I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies…He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me…I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness…Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."…For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day…as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God…For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
