John 3:16 – ‘So loved the world’

 

For God so loved the world…God is love…The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished…You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You…The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness…The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works…Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love…But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
