Willingness

And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and *said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."…thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing…If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself…Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done…Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak…Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to Your name, O LORD, for it is good…if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either…I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not…Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord…I know, O my God, that You try the heart and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You…Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver…Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.
