Romans 12:1, 2 …the will of God is, that which is good…

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good…'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.'…For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly…O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing…we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose…Indeed, the LORD will give what is good…If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!...Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow…For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land; and I will build them up and not overthrow them, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart…The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works…How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of men!...For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good…The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
