Scriptural Encouragement & Exhortation

Knowledge

They have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge…The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding…it is not good for a person to be without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps errs…There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death…For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes…You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me…This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent…in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge…And this I pray…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him…that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God…that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ's sake…that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself…For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
