Prayer: pt6
- Your kingdom come...
-
- "Behold, the days are coming," declares
the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will
reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In
His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His
name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.'"…For a child
will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on
His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His
government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to
establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and
forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this…The kingdom of
God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Look, here it
is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your
midst…Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand…For He rescued us from the
domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in
whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins…the God of heaven will set up
a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for
another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it
will itself endure forever…The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of
our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever…Now the
salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His
Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who
accuses them before our God day and night…Blessed are you who are poor, for
yours is the kingdom of God…Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the
sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven…And He sent them
out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.
