CHRIST OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

 

By His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness…"Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch…And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.'…through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous…He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him…I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith…now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe…For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes…Only in the LORD are righteousness and strength.
