THE BLESSED - Part 4

 

Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield…A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished…How blessed is he who considers the helpless; the LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble…He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor…and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous…Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh…Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’…When one of those who were reclining at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, "Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!"…“Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, "These are true words of God."
