ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: WISDOM

 

Wise in heart and mighty in strength…the only wise God…With Him are wisdom and might; to Him belong counsel and understanding….The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, by understanding He established the heavens…O LORD, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all…Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God…in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge…To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places…For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe…Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways…For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
