ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: PEACE

 

The LORD is Peace…God is not a God of confusion but of peace…The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace…For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace…I will hear what God the LORD will say; for He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones…The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You…Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus…The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet…the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever…may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ…the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
