ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: OMNIPOTENCE

 

God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases…Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle…The voice of the LORD is powerful, the voice of the LORD is majestic…Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?...O LORD, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You…For nothing will be impossible with God…The things that are impossible with people are possible with God…with God all things are possible…Behold, God is exalted in His power…We will sing and praise Your power…How awesome are Your works! Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will give feigned obedience to You…Who understands the power of Your anger and Your fury, according to the fear that is due You?...Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; they did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, that He might make His power known…I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is…the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe…in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead…Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power…For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself…Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.
