ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: FAITHFULNESS

 

God is faithful…The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He…All Your commandments are faithful…For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness…Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O LORD, You preserve man and beast…O LORD God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You…O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; for You have worked wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness…I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war…the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one…He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark…Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments…If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness…If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us; If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself…I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me…Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful…Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
