A New Creation

 

He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new. Write, for these words are faithful and true."…Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past.  Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?...For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create…If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness…Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances…Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come…put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth…put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him--a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all…For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
